Terms of use

WorthStop is a beta decision aid operated by BZ Labs. By accessing or using WorthStop, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions can be sent to team@worthstop.app.

Eligibility and beta scope

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to create an account. WorthStop is currently a United States-focused open beta with trip planning limited to the supported California service region. Features, coverage and availability may change during the beta.

How recommendations work

The main fuel recommendation uses the WorthStop Score to balance price and detour, with estimated trip cost used to break ties. Other options may highlight lower estimated cost or convenience. Estimates use your vehicle, fuel quantity, route and selected preferences; time cost is included only when enabled. A favorite never receives an artificial ranking boost. Price age and available coverage affect the usefulness of a result: a recent collection does not mean every station price was observed at that time.

EV Beta compares compatible one-stop charging options. When you provide battery level, usable capacity and consumption, or remaining driving range, it estimates reachability and arrival reserve. Charge level, charging time and cost are approximate; weather, elevation, battery condition, charging curves and site conditions may differ. Charger records do not establish live availability. WorthStop does not automatically plan a complete multi-stop charging journey.

All results are estimates and decision support, not guarantees. Prices, eligibility conditions, opening status, charger availability, charging speed, tariffs, route time, distance, amenities and access conditions can be incomplete, delayed or different when you arrive. Verify the final price, compatibility, availability and safe access before relying on a stop.

Safe and lawful use

Do not interact with WorthStop while driving. Set or change a trip only when safely parked or let a passenger operate the service. Follow traffic laws, posted signs, vehicle limits and station or charging instructions. You remain responsible for your route, fuel, charging and purchase decisions and for maintaining adequate fuel or battery range.

Accounts and visit history

Provide accurate account information, protect your login and notify us if you believe the account has been compromised. If you use a third-party sign-in provider, its terms and account-security controls also apply to that sign-in. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Visit history is enabled by default for new accounts. A search alone is not saved as a visit. While history is enabled, opening navigation saves the selected stop and trip details so you can return, rate the stop or report a price. You can turn future history off in Account. Turning it off does not automatically delete previously saved visits. See the Privacy Notice for deletion choices.

Saved routes and vehicle information

Signed-in users can save routes and keep their last successfully planned route for the next visit. A saved route using Current location requests your location again when used; it is not a promise to start at an old device position. Location permission or manual entry may be needed. Saved routes do not guarantee that a road or stop remains accessible.

The vehicle catalog helps fill in estimated fuel economy and, where available, fuel tank capacity. Specifications can vary by year, trim, engine, drivetrain, market and equipment. Check the selected version and your vehicle documentation, and correct values when needed. A catalog selection can be used temporarily for a trip; it does not replace a saved garage vehicle unless you explicitly save that change. Tank capacity is not the amount of fuel currently in the tank and does not guarantee usable range.

Memberships, discounts and cashback estimates

You can select memberships and reward programs and enter a cashback percentage or offer. WorthStop uses these settings to estimate eligible savings. The amount payable at the station can differ from the estimate after rewards: cashback or points may arrive later and may require activation, an eligible card or payment method, a qualifying purchase, or a separate claim.

You are responsible for checking program terms, limits, exclusions, membership status and whether offers can be combined. Custom rates are assumptions you provide. WorthStop does not verify your card, membership or reward balance, issue cashback, redeem points, process payment or guarantee a reward. A comparison using the same fuel quantity is distinct from the cost of your actual planned fill-up, and route detour costs are estimates.

Public price indices and local guides

City, county, regional and state pages show aggregate benchmarks from the available sample, not a guaranteed price at every station. Daily and monthly changes compare published average prices for the dates shown; the stations and payment conditions represented can change between dates. These are indicative comparisons, not a fixed-basket market index. Missing history or a small sample can prevent a comparison. Read the displayed observation dates and sample information.

Local guides, station counts, amenities and opening hours may be incomplete or change. City pages do not publish individual station prices. Photographs illustrate an area and may not show a recommended stop; image credits and applicable license information are provided with the images or on the linked credits page.

Contributions

You may submit only truthful, first-hand and relevant prices, ratings, amenity answers and comments. Do not submit confidential information, personal information about another person, unlawful material, advertising, harassment, malware or content that infringes another person's rights. Do not coordinate reports or use multiple accounts to manipulate prices, ratings or rankings.

You retain any rights you have in your contribution. You grant BZ Labs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, moderate, analyze, combine, publish and display the contribution, and to create aggregate or derived information from it, solely to operate, provide, secure and improve WorthStop. This license lasts while the contribution is used by the service. Aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you may remain after account deletion.

We may review, limit, flag, reject or remove contributions and may use corroboration and other quality controls before a report affects shared results. We do not promise to publish or preserve any contribution.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse or interfere with WorthStop. Unless we give written permission or applicable law expressly allows it, you may not:

Ordinary use by standard web browsers and indexing by search engines that follow our published instructions are permitted.

External services and transactions

Navigation and other links may open a third-party service. Its terms and privacy practices apply once you leave WorthStop. WorthStop does not control third-party maps, stations, chargers, retailers, prices, inventory or transactions. WorthStop is not the seller of fuel, charging or station goods and is not a party to your transaction with a station or charging provider.

Data and intellectual property

WorthStop combines information from multiple permitted sources with original matching, normalization, calculations, rankings and presentation. Source information may remain subject to third-party rights and terms. WorthStop and its licensors retain their respective rights in the service, software, branding, compilation and original content. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.

You may use individual results for personal trip decisions. You may not copy or redistribute substantial portions of the service or dataset except with written permission or as allowed by law.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using WorthStop or delete your account at any time. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, data, the service or legal rights, or when these terms are materially violated. We may change, pause or discontinue beta features.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, WorthStop is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, complete, accurate, safe or error-free. BZ Labs does not warrant any third-party price, route, charger, station, amenity or service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BZ Labs and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits or lost data arising from use of the beta. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Changes, law and general terms

We may update these terms as the beta changes. Material revisions will be posted with a new effective date and additional notice will be provided when required. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them.

California law governs these terms without overriding mandatory protections that apply where you live. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These terms and the Privacy Notice are the agreement between you and BZ Labs about WorthStop unless a separate written agreement applies.
